Job Title: Merchandise Operations Manager Department: Merchandise Reports To: Director of Merchandise/Retail Operations FLSA Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt **POSITION SUMMARY** The Merchandise Operations Manager at Bell Bank Park Powered by Legacy Sports USA is a key member that will provide an exceptional experience at Bell Bank Park, Manages all Retail operations for all Legacy Sports USA events. Responsible for leading a specific area of Merchandise operations for product that enters/moves within/exits the property working closely with all parties in the Merchandise departments/management. Responsible for maximizing day to day operational efficiencies in areas of sustainable results, merchandise flow, inventory, planning, staffing, overall organization, and building/ maintenance of all the Merchandise locations. Partner with the Director of Merchandise/Retail Operations streamlining the flow of merchandise to generate revenue and bridging both retail operational and merchandise location teams together. Creates and executes strategic training plan to support the on-going development of the Retail team. This role requires the ability to exercise independent judgment as it pertains to guest services and customer interaction in alignment with organizational goals. **ABOUT BELL BANK PARK** Bell Bank Park, powered by Legacy Sports USA is a 320-acre multi-use family, sport and entertainment complex of outdoor and indoor team athletic facilities geared toward high-energy entertainment and sports in Mesa, Arizona and growing by the day. Our core values are the backbone of our business and guide our hiring process: we are service oriented, commented, inclusive, transparent, inspirational, and accountable. **PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES** * Act as an ambassador in all Legacy Sports USA merchandise locations, greeting and assisting all guests with any questions, concerns, or requests * Ensure that guests and team members follow all facility and safety policies, informing management of any issues * Assist and support the Director of Merchandise/Retail Operations with the execution of retail strategies involving team development, merchandising flow and processing, fan experience, innovative ways to generate revenue, and all aspects of retail operations * Manage and accurately receive, process, ticket, and data input all inbound goods within a 24 hour period * Manage monthly inventory cycle counts/process of merchandise locations * Partner with the Merchandise Manager at Legacy Sports USA to streamline the flow of merchandise and to maintain inventory levels * Develop and execute training plans, distribution plans, and detailed operational strategies to drive the retail business * Audit day-to-day operations and overall operations initiatives * Continue to evaluate and update all Retail standard operation procedures to streamline operations in order maximize sustainable results * Maintain ongoing communication with the Merchandise Manager, and the Director of Merchandise/Retail Operations * Strategically seek out new mobile and/or non-traditional events aimed at increasing overall retail revenue * Utilize all resources to assure safety, best practices, and time management * Align with our company vision and procedures * Perform other functions and activities as directed by the Director of Merchandise/Retail Operations **KEY COMPETENCIES** Strong written and verbal communication skills, clearly communicating by phone or in-person with customers * Well-organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities * Proactive approach to problem-solving, and process improvement * Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities * Ability to thrive in an environment of change and growth Outstanding organization and administrative skills * Ability to think individually as well as collaboratively when approaching job responsibilities **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** * Some High School education or equivalent * Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands * Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract multiply and divide * Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures * Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen. * Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service * Ability to multitask and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction * Previous experience with Merchandise Operations and Point of Sale systems * Proven teamwork skills * Enthusiastic and energetic **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** * Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time * Able to bend, stretch, and twist * Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs * Able to perform duties comfortably in an active and noisy environment **COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY** As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Bell Bank Park Powered by Legacy Sports USA recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
