o Canton, MS (30 miles north of Jackson, MS)
--- Travel/Schedule: You generally will work standard day-shift hours Mon-Fri
--- Compensation: Target base salary -$70K - $85K+
o Bonuses/Additional Compensation: Relocation / sign-on bonus is available on a case-by-case basis; vehicle allowance ($500 - $700/mo); performance bonus program

Position Description: Safety plays a major role in successful completion of all Company projects. With this commitment in mind, they strive to assure that no person will work in surroundings or under conditions that are unsafe or dangerous to their health. They pursue an active, comprehensive accident prevention policy in all of their operations. Collaborating with their General Contractor partners to achieve the goal of Zero Incident worksites is a high priority.

The Safety Coordinator's responsibility is to help minimize the risk of job-related accidents, monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities and develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness at construction job sites. The site in Queen Creek, AZ is the construction of a huge LG Energy battery manufacturing facility. The one in Canton, MS is a large Data Center. You will spend the majority of each day either on-site or in a local office. Some specific responsibilities include:
--- Oversee operations in the field and complete site audits.
--- Stay abreast of legal changes to safety and health codes; conduct new hire safety orientations.
--- Ensure Foremen are complying with safety and health regulations and Company policy.
--- Direct accident investigation procedures.
--- Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions.
--- Organize and conduct training for the crews (fork-lift, aerial lift, fall protection, trenching excavation, fall protection, confined space, etc.).
--- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
--- Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
--- Work with the customer to resolves any safety matters that arise.
--- Be responsible for putting together site-specific safety manuals, site fall protection work plans, job hazard analysis.
--- Attend monthly safety committee meetings and makes sure job sites are conducting weekly safety meetings.
