PetSmart, Inc., a leading North American pet retailer, is seeking a Senior Manager for Services Financial Planning to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and overseeing the financial strategies that drive our diverse range of pet services. The ideal candidate will offer financial guidance related to our grooming, training, and other pet-related services to ensure profitability and sustainability. As the Sr. Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to set financial targets, manage budgets, and analyze performance metrics that support the long-term goals of PetSmart. Develop financial plans and forecasts in alignment with the company's strategic objectives. Work closely with the services department to establish and manage budgets, and to optimize costs. Lead monthly financial reviews to assess performance against key metrics and budgets. Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior executives. Manage and mentor a team of financial planners and analysts. Enhance financial procedures and tools to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to identify financial opportunities within services operations. Strong leadership and managerial abilities Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of financial systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear manner Experience in retail or service industry financial planning Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
