Senior Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing
full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees with a high
degree of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role plays a
critical part in maintaining the integrity of payroll records,
auditing time and attendance data, managing employee pay changes,
and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and
local payroll regulations. The Senior Payroll Administrator works
closely with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies,
administer garnishments and withholdings, and respond to employee
inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality. Additionally,
this role supports payroll audits, system data integrity, and
continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the payroll function.

Process full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees
Maintain payroll records with a high degree of accuracy and
integrity Audit time and attendance records; calculate wages,
overtime, and supplemental pay Execute payroll changes including
deductions, tax status updates, and employment changes (transfers,
promotions, terminations) Accurately calculate and distribute final
wages in compliance with state laws Resolve payroll discrepancies
in collaboration with HR and Finance departments Ensure compliance
with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Administer wage
garnishments, child support orders, and tax withholdings Maintain
accurate employee data in payroll and HRIS systems Oversee paycard
enrollment and distributions Respond to payroll-related employee
inquiries in a timely and professional manner Assist in internal
and external payroll audits Participate in payroll-related projects
and process improvements Uphold strict confidentiality of sensitive
employee and payroll information Perform additional duties as
assigned REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years of experience processing
multi-state payroll Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ADP Workforce
Now Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance standards,
and tax requirements Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Strong
communication and interpersonal skills COMPETENCIES Accuracy and
Attention to Detail - Ensuring precise payroll calculations,
maintaining error-free records, and upholding compliance standards
across multi-state jurisdictions. Payroll Compliance and Regulatory
Knowledge - Demonstrating thorough knowledge of federal, state, and
local payroll laws, tax requirements, and employment regulations.
Communication and Collaboration - Effectively partnering with HR,
Finance, and employees to resolve payroll issues and explain
complex payroll matters clearly. Physical requirements that are
essential to the job. Lifting: Occasional light lifting (up to 10
lbs.) of files or office materials Mobility: Walking in office
areas Working conditions: Primarily performed onsite or hybrid
Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for
extended periods during meetings or events Manual Dexterity: Skills
