Job Description:

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for our next production and service coordinator. We need someone to help us coordinate our projects, perform quality control checks, and do service and repair work. Our main services are tile roofing, shingle roofing, spray foam and coatings, and also some siding and stucco work. We’re looking for an experienced roofer or eager learner with a strong work ethic to help our growing book of customers protect and waterproof their roofs. You'll be responsible for assessing, repairing, maintaining, and installing new roofing systems. You’ll also use the proper materials, tools, and techniques to get the job done right. You have some roofing experience and like to follow manufacturer guidelines, can read detailed drawings and installation instructions, and are comfortable working at heights and being outdoors in all weather conditions. You are part of a great team, but you are a lone wolf most of the day, so you need to be good at prioritizing and communicating. If this sounds promising, apply today! Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly Responsibilities: Investigate, find, and repair roof leaks Inspect roofs for proper install including flashings Perform repairs on tile, shingle, and spray foam roofs Read and interpret work orders for repair projects Take photos using our app on your smartphone Write daily logs and job notes in our project software Heavy lifting of materials and equipment Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and the proper building code Coordinate roof projects with crews and material suppliers Pick up and deliver additional materials to job sites Qualifications: Driver’s license required Must have excellent communication skills Candidates must be physically able to lift heavy materials and tools, and have good balance We prefer candidates with general construction experience Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work efficiently on your own Comfortable working in heights up on roofs and sometimes on steep slopes (using proper equipment) Ability to read and understand drawings or blueprints is a plus Knowledge of different roofing products is an advantage Must have comfort using a smartphone and a laptop, including apps and a camera Familiarity with common equipment, including but not limited to: Sheet metal brake Ladders Pump Jacks and scaffolding Pneumatic nail guns Cordless tools and saws Common Hand Tools Caulk Guns Paint brushes and rollers Hot Air Welding Gun About Company Repairing and restoring homes and businesses since 1990, Weather-Tite specializes in roofing, siding & stucco.
