Job Description:
GEICO, a distinguished leader in the auto insurance industry, is
seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative dedicated to
providing outstanding customer support while handling client
inquiries and insurance claims with efficiency and empathy. This
role is essential in maintaining GEICO’s reputation for exceptional
service, which prioritizes customer satisfaction and
responsiveness. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English
and another language, eager to facilitate clear, courteous
communication across diverse client demographics. Provide prompt,
accurate, and friendly customer support. Address and resolve
customer inquiries and insurance claims, ensuring a clear
understanding of issues. Document customer interactions and
transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and
comments, as well as actions taken. Collaborate with other team
members to ensure a cohesive customer service experience.
Continuously seek to improve knowledge of insurance products and
services offered by GEICO to better assist customers. Handle
customer complaints and escalate complex issues appropriately.
Fluency in English and one other language (Spanish preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong
problem-solving and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask and
navigate through multiple systems. Patience and empathy in dealing
with customer concerns. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Customer Service Certification
(optional but beneficial). Any additional language certifications
for non-native speakers.
