Special Education (SPED) Position at Blazerworks in Gilbert, Arizona Job Type: Full-time Blazerworks, in partnership with a distinguished school district in Gilbert, Arizona, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education (SPED) professional to join our team. • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students based on their unique learning requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other specialists to foster inclusive educational practices.
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technologies to facilitate student learning and engagement.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and make necessary instructional adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and support strategies.
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive plans. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Arizona Special Education certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
