Northrop Grumman's Strategic Space Systems Digital Hardware and IC
Department in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a talented Associate ASIC/FPGA
Design Engineer.
By working with DSP Systems and HDL Design and Verification
engineers, you will be a key technical team member responsible for
developing VHDL designs for complex communication and SOC designs
for high-reliability space applications. We are seeking a
motivated, innovative, and detail-oriented engineer eager to grow
their early career skills to efficiently and creatively produce
robust design solutions to enable the rapid development and launch
of next generation space systems. This position is ideal for highly
passionate engineers who enjoy the challenge of learning how to
develop robust ASIC/FPGA solutions for implementation in our latest
generation of FPGA and ASIC space technologies. This position
requires an individual that has strong, efficient, and out-going
communication skills to be effective on high-performance
development teams that consist of developers residing across
multiple Northrop Grumman engineering development centers. As a key
design team member, you'll have the opportunity to grow your
understanding of advance digital designs for space
applications.
You will engage and work closely with Northrop Grumman digital
design mentors to grow your skills to enable your career to advance
rapidly. This role is eligible for relocation assistance and Hybrid
work environment in Gilbert, Arizona for well qualified candidates.
Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both
onsite and offsite.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer
engineering and 6+ months of relevant engineering experience
Must have minimum of 6 months of experience with VHDL or
Verilog
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security
Clearance
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer
engineering
1+ years' experience with VHDL or Verilog
Experience with verifying DSP or SOC Designs
Active US Government Security Clearance
DigitalHardwareEngineering
Salary Range: $67,100.00 - $100,100.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
