Mechanical Engineer II


Job Summary:

This position will provide technical guidance for all phases of assigned Mechanical Engineering projects and programs and ensure the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and cost.




Responsibilities:

-Review, investigate, and develop appropriate recommendations regarding as
signed Engineering projects

-Contribute to Mechanical Engineering design plans and requirements

-Develop Mechanical Engineering projects utilizing new technology to constantly upgrade and improve site safety, efficiencies, cost controls, quality controls and protection of the environment

-Serves as Project Manager or Technical Advisor, on small-to-medium site Engineering projects including the development of new or modification to existing systems and processes

-Participate with Operations and Maintenance departments and other Engineering staff in problem solving efforts to improve safety, efficiencies, cost controls and protection of the environment

-Assist Operations and Maintenance departments with the implementation of new technology

-Ensure appropriate documentation for assigned projects are prepared and reviews documentation for accuracy




Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and 3 years of related Engineering experience

-Knowledge of the principles and practices of Mechanical Engineering

-Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions



Preferred:
-Compressor Rebuild Experience
