Title: Commercial Electrical Service Technician Experience
Required: Minimum 5 years Status: Full-Time Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial
Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate
has at least five years of commercial electrical experience, a
strong customer-service mindset, and a clean driving record. This
role will perform electrical service, troubleshooting, repair, and
installation work at customer job sites while maintaining safety,
quality, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Diagnose,
troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical issues, including
lighting, wiring, power distribution, and equipment failures
Install and upgrade electrical systems, panels, circuits, and
controls in commercial facilities Perform preventive maintenance on
electrical systems and equipment Read and interpret electrical
blueprints, technical diagrams, and job specifications Provide
clear communication to customers regarding work performed,
recommendations, and project scope Maintain accurate job records,
timesheets, and service documentation Ensure work is completed
safely and in compliance with NEC, state, and local codes Operate
company vehicle safely while transporting tools, materials, and
equipment Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project
managers as needed Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours
emergency service (if applicable) Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years commercial electrical service experience
(Journeyman preferred) Strong working knowledge of NEC codes and
commercial wiring methods Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders,
and perform physical tasks in varying environments Valid drivers
license with a clean driving record Strong troubleshooting and
diagnostic skills Ability to work independently with minimal
supervision Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Ability to pass background check and drug screen (if required)
Preferred Skills/Training Experience with conduit bending, control
systems, and up to 600V Experience in retail, industrial, and
facility service environments Basic computer/mobile app proficiency
for work orders and reporting OSHA 30, NEC
