*Starting Pay Rate: $30.06* What You Will Do This occupation
performs the inspection of metal, composite or plastic fabricated
parts and assemblies for conformance to specifications. TYPICAL
TASKS: Use of Standard Inspection Equipment (Calipers, Micrometers,
etc.), Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Optical
Comparators/Smart Scopes, and other verification methods to ensure
machined parts conform to technical data packages (TDP) and/or
customer quality requirements. Perform final inspection activities
to verify parts meet technical data package requirements using
visual, mechanical, and other inspection techniques. Perform First
Article Inspection (FAI) to support Engineering and/or production.
Verifies conformance to required tolerances and specifications.
Assist quality assurance, engineering, and operations in the
investigation of non-conformities. Performs area surveillance of
equipment, tools, and safety precautions. Verifies calibration and
conformance to specifications and established technical data,
quality requirements, and standards. Works from blueprints,
operation instruction sheets, work orders, stock orders, quality
control standards, military specifications, and written
instructions. Manages the calibration cycle and checks out/in all
mechanical gages in the lab. Maintains the cleanliness and
protection of precision gages. Qualifications You Must Have 3 years
mechanical inspection experience 3 years of experience utilizing
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to use
standard inspection equipment including but not limited; to Vernier
gages, Thread and Plug Gages, Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, &
Optical Comparators Experience completing first article inspections
The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
