It all begins with you.The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Our guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.The Analytics Manager 4 will report to the Operation Analytics leader for Consumer Collections & Servicing (CCS) Analytics within our Credit Card and Retail Services (CRS) division. The Consumer Collections & Servicing (CCS) team is responsible for all pre- and post-charge-off debt collection, core servicing, credit bureau dispute resolution and reporting, and complaint management for Wells Fargo's Card and Retail Services business, as well as the Student Loan, Overdraft DDA and Personal Lines and Loans products. This team focuses on working with customers to resolve past due balances with solutions focused on helping our customers succeed financially.We are seeking a strong analytical leader to help manage our analytical functions consisting of MIS, Operational/portfolio analytics, risk analytics and performance dashboards.This position will be instrumental in helping CCS drive excellence by reducing the risk, drive technological innovation and operational efficiencies in the default management space.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Pro-actively identifying business and risk trends that will enhance the business performance of this dynamic and strategically driven business.
  • Identifying top to bottom performance dashboards and executive presentations.
  • Generating key capabilities, insights and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across CRS.
  • Work with cross functional team to develop KPIs and tracking, goal setting, and meeting cadence. Issue analysis and customer remediation efforts
  • Building analytical capabilities and manage forecasting, reporting and/or data distribution tools and process
  • Analyze data and create and validate assumptions that supports key business projects and strategic initiatives
  • Manage an analytics & reporting team and guide and evaluate its development and performance.
  • Direct development of queries, pulling of data, and assembling of reports leveraging best practices.
  • Continually enhance existing reports.
  • Recommend solutions to business leaders in response to business problems and opportunitiesThe successful candidate will possess a strong blend of technical and business problem solving skills. They will have experience performing ad hoc analysis and reporting. Additionally, the Analytic Manager 4 will support the build out of an advanced analytical framework structure that supports the full life cycle of analytics.As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:
    • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
    • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.*** Preference for role to be located in one of the posted locations; however, consideration will be given to candidates across the Wells Fargo footprint. -

      Required Qualifications
      • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling
      • 4+ years of management experience

        Desired Qualifications
        • 6+ years of consultative business analysis experience
        • 6+ years of SQL or SAS experience
        • Knowledge and understanding of database building, forecasting, and processes
        • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
        • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
        • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
        • Ability to research, compile, and perform complex analysis on critical operational data
        • Ability to deliver results with speed and agility
        • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
        • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management
        • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
        • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access) skills

          Other Desired Qualifications
          • Must be a self-starter with the ability to acquire new concepts and skills quickly.
          • Experience with reporting tools
          • Prior Collections industry experience
          • Demonstrated initiative to identify business improvement opportunities and drive completion of tasks, projects and initiatives. -
