Experience Advisor, Manager
The US Global (USG) Global Mobility organization (Deloitte LLP) is
responsible for the global mobility strategic and operational
support to the US Firms' leaders and businesses, including
end-to-end advisory support for all US and US India deployment
types (US / US India inbound and outbound assignments and
cross-border engagement deployments).
US Global Mobility leadership is seeking an Employee Experience
Advisor role to support the cross-border engagement (CBE) traveler
process.
Reports to: CBE Employee Experience Lead, Senior Manager
Description of Responsibilities
Supports execution and delivery of end-to-end employee experience
activities for a caseload of cross-border engagement travelers (for
US outbound and inbound CBEs), working under the direction of the
CBE Employee Experience Lead.
Examples of specific responsibilities include but are not limited
to:
- Initiates, tracks, executes and monitors individuals on
cross-border engagements, and serves as primary point of contact to
provide tailored support with immigration, benefits, travel and
other logistics over the lifecycle of the global deployment
- Collaborates and works closely with Global Mobility Business
Advisor and Operations teams to execute consistent hand-offs and
deliver superior service for our engagement travelers
- Leads risk assessment calls with engagement leaders, finance,
tax advisors, and Global Mobility Business Advisors and provides
immigration and CBE process expertise
- Manages engagement traveler cases through global mobility
technology and tools and reviews data, agreements, and documents to
ensure accuracy and compliance
- Initiates work permit activities with the host country member
firm mobility and/or immigration contact(s) and tracks/monitors
progress through to successful procurement of the work permit
- Coordinates with Engagement Leaders and multiple stakeholders
to discuss and address CBE matters as they arise, with the ability
to navigate complex topics
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with member
firm Global Mobility contacts and other process stakeholders (e.g.,
finance, tax service providers, immigration, etc.)
- Identifies opportunities to improve the CBE Employee Experience
approach, processes, and tools and shares with CBE Employee
Experience Lead
- Facilitates training efforts within the Global Mobility team
and with other stakeholders, regarding the execution of CBE
elements, as required
- Escalates complex issues to CBE Employee Experience Lead, as
required

- Global Mobility technical understanding (e.g., deployment
structures, deployment lifecycle, processes, tax concepts, global
immigration, and policies)
- Consultative approach toward clients, with a focus on customer
service excellence and an appreciation for urgent timelines
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving
skills
- High degree of confidentiality, exercising care in addressing
issues
- Self-driven, proactive communication style, with strong
stakeholder management and relationship building abilities
- Financial management, project management, and analytical
skills
- Cross-cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced,
multi-tasking environment
- Critical understanding of when to escalate matters for
necessary leadership input/involvement
- Familiarity of Deloitte's Businesses, particularly
understanding management of client engagements
- Experience working in a virtual and multi-national/global team
environment
- Understanding of, or have worked in the Consulting business is
beneficial
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of directly related
experience, including subject matter expertise in global mobility
or immigration (preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship now, or at any time in the near
future
- Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the
role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended
until further notice.)
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte
is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the
compensation range for this role. This compensation range is
specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide
range of factors that are considered in making compensation
decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and
training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We
would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would
land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will
be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the range is $115,030 to $211,850.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual
incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program,
whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including,
without limitation, individual and organizational performance .
