Job Description:

The Account Manager position is responsible for proactively managing the overall workflow for the books of business assigned to them. Account Managers handle all lines of commercial insurance for their accounts and serve as the main contact for the clients.The ideal candidate will add to and bolster the Agency's unique culture - a fast-paced environment that is client-focused and results-driven. Remote working is available.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Accurately manage client accounts and ensure all deadlines are metMaintain a clear understanding of assigned accountsMarket and place new business and/or renewal businessMeet with Producer and service teams to ensure service levels are being metCommunicate and partner with insurance companies to ensure we are meeting the client's expectations.Seek opportunities and take steps to increase knowledge of the industry, regulatory requirements, tools, and resources available to assist clients.Collect and report information and generate stewardship reports.
Answer questions from the producer and the service teams regarding accounts.Communicate with clients and answer questions regarding their policies and/or services provided by the Agency.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, both internal and external.Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
Perform other duties as assigned appropriate to the position.Handle service items including complex/dynamic policy changes, renewal reviews, audit disputes, proposals for producers, quote comparisons for producersEducation & Experience:
High School diploma or GED required
College-level business courses preferred
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a commercial insurance-related industry requiredAn active Arizona P&C Insurance license requiredExperience with AMS360 is preferred but not requiredExperience working with multiple insurance carries from new business quoting, to renewal marketingProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications
