Your Impact

The Assistant General Manager maintains and runs a licensed medical marijuana dispensary according to all Arizona Department of Health Services guidelines.

What You'll Do

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages employees and maintains high standards of engagement and world class customer service standards.
  • Create work schedules in order to meet customer demand
  • Lead disciplinary and conflict resolution, as needed, for optimum performance.
  • Models and manages all company policies and procedures including efficient cash handling, safe operations, opening and closing procedures and reconciliations.
  • Maintains compliance with cannabis laws and regulations.
  • Provide and model world class patient support and education.
  • Keep up to date on all Arizona Department of Health Services rules and regulations for the Medical Marijuana program and Adult Use program.
  • Partner with the General Manager and Inventory department to ensure inventory control procedures and practices meet or exceed expectations.
  • Maintains ordering, incentive and communication platforms such as Weedmaps, Leafly, Sparkplug, Eyerate and Basecamp.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and overall performance management of staff to achieve peak performance and development.
  • Assist General Manager with daily tasks associated with running a licensed dispensary.

    What You Bring

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • High School Diploma.
    • Previous experience in a retail setting, preferably in the cannabis industry.
    • Ability to acquire Agent Card through Arizona Department of Health Services.
    • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, holiday and evening hours.
    • Must be computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze information gathered to identify potential problems or discrepancies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to plant and office environment including occasional exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
