Hospital/Clinic Revenue Cycling - Medical Bookkeeper Gilbert,
AZ
Position Summary:
an Arizona based company, is looking for a Bookkeeper to provide
accounting and bookkeeping support for the day-to-day business
operations. The Bookkeeper will perform any combination of routine
calculating, posting, and verifying to obtain and process financial
data for use in maintaining accounting records for our
multi-locations.
Performance Objectives:
Demonstrate knowledge and skill in technical areas, including GAAP
and interpreting statistical and financial data
PC proficiency is essential (Windows & MAC) and strong working
knowledge of Excel; ability to learn new payroll and accounting
systems quickly
Prepares and posts journal entries for multiple entities
Reconciles and balances accounts
Analyzes and corrects current-period errors in the general
ledger
Preparation of monthly financial statements (i.e. Profit and Loss
Statements with graphs)
Monthly and quarterly local, state and federal tax returns
Calculation and entry of Payroll history adjustments, Employee
PTO
Perform other assigned duties as needed
Capabilities-Key Competencies:
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and
professionalism
Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office
equipment
Knowledge of computerized accounting
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll
accounting transactions and payroll returns
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in
writing, In English
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service
skills
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MAC
Checking budget variance
Analysis of cost reduction
Understand, believe, and communicate our mission, vision, and
values
Ability to define and take massive action to accomplish your own
personal, professional and financial goals
Education & Experience:
A bachelors degree in accounting required
Minimum five years experience in corporate accounting, auditing
skills are preferred
CPA preferred but not required
Expert QuickBooks skills required, QuickBooks Pro & Online
