Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC OBGYN to join their team! 5 fully-equipped labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum rooms, two additional recovery rooms, and a nursery equipped to accommodate well babies delivered at 36 weeks or later. Department delivers about 320 babies per year Join 1 other full-time OBGYN There is a permanent part-time OBGYN covering 1 weekend a month making for a very light call schedule Established clientele to take on plus plenty of opportunity to grow Service area 40-50K Facility Information: Hospital is in a medically underserved rural area. We are a Critical Access Hospital with 6 ICU beds, 4 OB beds, plus 15 Med/Surg beds. Our main hospital is three years old. Additionally it has an Observation Unit with beds for less than 24 hour stays. Compensation & Benefits: Guaranteed Base Salary - 50% MGMA + production bonuses 4 weeks of vacation. There are 9 paid holidays. Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance is covered. Malpractice insurance is paid by the Hospital also. Short and Long term Disability insurance is offered. There is a 401K with up to a 4% match offered and is fully vested in 5 years. Access to a 457 (b) plan CME is 5 days paid to attend plus up to $2500 for reimbursement. Student loan repayment is available. Community Information: Located in the desert foothills and about 12 to 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix, the region served by the Medical Center is fantastic location for lovers of the outdoors. These communities border Arizona's magnificent Tonto National Forest and are surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain vistas in the Southwest. The mining and ranching industries are still a major factor in the economy of each of these communities. It has a thriving arts community, and the neighbors are friendly. Arizona is 70% federal land - endless possibilities for camping, hiking, photography, etc It is also within a 20 minute drive of Roosevelt Lake, the largest lake in Arizona where you can enjoy camping, boating, skiing, sailing and fishing 30 minute drive to 7,000 feet up in the beautiful Pinal Mountains. The hospital is also within a 90 minute drive to Phoenix, Arizona's capital, and Tucson to the south. 75 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport on the US 60.
