Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg RN in Prescott Valley, Arizona, 86314! Pay

Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Yes Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience
reading basic telemetry strips. - Some experience with CVA and TIA.
- Total joint replacement experience. - Cerner experience
recommended. Description: This unit specializes in telemetry care.
It accommodates patients with cardiac and medical conditions. There
are 49 beds available on the unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is
1:5. Common diagnoses include CHF, COVID, respiratory issues, GI
problems, and diabetes. Nurses are required to interpret telemetry
strips and sign off at least once per shift. Charge nurses and
house supervisors are present on the unit. Nurse aides are
available with a ratio of 1:10-15. Equipment used includes BiPap,
CPAP, and breathing treatments. Schedules are created for four-week
periods. Self-scheduling is implemented but is finalized by
management. Weekend coverage is required for two weekends within
the four-week schedule. Holiday coverage for major holidays is also
expected. Floating to other units may occur, depending on
qualifications. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs.
