ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Gilbert, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ED Hold Job Details: • Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) • 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule • Self-scheduling ability available (subject to change) • Holiday rotation with permanent staff • No call or standby requirements • Patient ratio of 1:4 • Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to start through UNA (maximum 2 attempts) • Pass/fail simulation lab on day one of orientation • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Must have strong cardiac telemetry background, preferably 2 years experience • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips per physician orders and parameters • Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips (no monitor tech available) • Common titratable drips include Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone • Care for ED hold patients waiting for placement on hospital units • May assist with ED patient vitals, IV starts, and medication administration • Float to medical/surgical/telemetry/overflow units and sister facilities as needed • Two shifts orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at primary campus • Navy scrubs required • Charting system: Cerner • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This acute care medical center operates a comprehensive emergency department with 31 ED beds, providing critical care services to the community.
