Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: Level I Trauma experience
required Description: Profile review will occur before sending to
the manager for an interview. Level I Trauma experience is
required; will consider busy Level II experience. No travel teams
with Cath Lab RNs. No local rates; 50-mile radius rule applies.
Unit consists of 3 main beds, with 1 being EP and 1 being Hybrid
(vascular & cardiac cases). Required certifications include BLS,
and if the candidate is a tech, ARRT certification that includes
scrubbing is necessary. Candidates must have a current license.
Typical cases per day range from 10 to 25. The electronic medical
record system in use is Cerner and Xper. There is a charge nurse
present, and nurse aides are available as needed. Candidates must
have 2 years of Cath Lab experience. The position also covers Endo
and CVOR. On-call requirements include 8 to 12 days per month for
weekends and holidays worked into the rotation. Scrub color will be
provided by the facility. Common diagnoses and types of patients
include interventional, EP lab, peripherals, EP - cardiology and
vascular, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and Emtala placement. Response
time is expected to be within 30 minutes. Equipment used includes
Phillips and Siemens. The cancellation policy allows for shifts to
be canceled under specific conditions. Charting is performed using
