Registered Nurse - ER – UHC Staffing Registered Nurse - ER Location: Globe, AZ Start Date: 02-04-2026 End Date: 05-06-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (three 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours/week). Includes required 24-hour call shifts. Exact start/end times and weekly schedule vary by facility; nights only. Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert, compassionate emergency nursing care to stabilize and treat patients in the ER Perform rapid triage and prioritize care for acute, urgent and traumatic conditions Administer medications, treatments and interventions per physician orders and protocols Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in Meditech 6.0 Collaborate with physicians, technicians and support staff to deliver coordinated care Respond to emergency codes and perform life-saving interventions when needed Participate in call coverage, accepting assigned 24-hour call shifts and following call protocols Support patient and family education, discharge planning and safe transitions of care Qualifications Active Registered Nurse licensure (appropriate state authorization required) Emergency Department nursing experience (ER RN / Emergency Nursing) Ability to work night shifts and accept 24-hour call shifts as required Traveler experience strongly preferred (previous travel RN experience a plus) Familiarity with Meditech (Meditech 6.0 experience preferred) Current BLS required; ACLS and other specialty certifications are a plus Education Nursing diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong emergency assessment and triage skills Comfort with high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environments Proficiency with electronic medical records, ideally Meditech 6.0 Solid medication administration and IV therapy skills Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings Ability to manage call responsibilities and handoffs effectively Benefits Supportive travel contract with a dedicated recruiter to help every step of the way Medical, dental and vision coverage options to keep you healthy Licensure assistance and reimbursement to make credentialing smoother Paid time off opportunities to recharge between assignments Travel reimbursement and housing support to make relocation easier A collaborative ER team that values your skills and input Opportunities to grow your emergency nursing experience and skillset Access to continuing education resources and clinical mentors Travel Perks: Explore Globe, AZ Globe, AZ sits in the heart of Arizona's historic copper country and offers a charming small-town feel with plenty of outdoor options.
