Industry (MBI) operates outpatient clinics specializing in acute
injury care within an Occupational Medicine setting. Our services
focus on treating occupational injuries. No chronic pain
management! Our fully integrated EMR system enables providers to
deliver high-quality patient care with minimal administrative
responsibilities. MBI currently has 27 locations in Arizona,
Colorado, and Nevada. Significant career growth opportunities are

Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Sports Medicine and
Orthopedics. Work Schedule: Full Time, Compensation: $120-130/hr
Summary: Under the administrative supervision of the Regional
Medical Director, and Center Medical Director, the Physician
provides healthcare services to patients in clinic, according to
the established principles of clinical practice. Organizational
Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the values, mission, and
vision of MBI Industrial Medicine, Inc., as evidenced by compliance
with all organizational policies and procedures. Supports the
facilities positive interaction with others as evidenced by
professional maturity, respect for others, a team centered
approach, maintenance of confidential information, and appreciation
of a variety of viewpoints and diversity in the workplace. Exhibits
effective communication skills, including proper use of corporate
communication systems and chain of command. Supports the strategic
plan of MBI Industrial Medicine, Inc., as evidenced by a working
knowledge of the organization’s goals, mission, and values,
implementing them in daily practice. Participates in strategic
planning activities as requested by the Center or State medical
leader. Serve as a leader in the clinic, working in partnership
with the Clinic Administrator and Center Medical Director to
promote the best patient outcomes, work processes, and staff
engagement. Job Functions: Provides healthcare to patients both in
clinic and via tele-medicine according to the established
principles of clinical practice and the current organizational plan
or need. Provides oversight of any Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
at the Physician’s clinic location, including providing
recommendations on clinical management and treatment plans when the
Center Medical director is not on site or available. Perform
complete history and physical exams for the purpose of determining
capacity to safely perform specified job functions. Provide medical
opinion regarding job accommodations if needed to safely perform
specified job functions. Participate in the legal process of
workers’ compensation, including Samm’s calls, depositions, and
testifying in hearings when requested. Perform Fit for Duty &
Return to work evaluations Evaluate and manage the following
conditions: Common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the
neck, back, and upper and lower extremities. Work-related injuries
to the head with or without loss of consciousness, assuming the
individual is currently conscious and alert. Work-related injuries
to the chest or abdomen, with the possibility of hernias.
Work-related lacerations of the face, scalp, and extremities.
Work-related eye injuries, including foreign bodies to the eye,
non-penetrating eye injuries, and chemical exposures. Work-related
rashes and other occupational skin conditions. Occupational asthma
and other work-related respiratory symptoms. Treatment of
non-displaced uncomplicated fractures, including interpreting
radiographs, splinting, and orthopedic referral when appropriate.
Evaluation and management to include: Perform complete and accurate
history and physical, including detailed documentation of current
work-related complaint, mechanism of injury, activity and
occupational limitations, leading to accurate diagnosis and
medically appropriate management of the patient. Being aware of
OSHA recordability and rendering medically appropriate care, while
being aware and sensitive to treatment which makes an injury
recordable to the employer. Prescription of appropriate medications
and therapy. Ordering and interpretation of radiographs. Referral
for specialized testing such as MRI, EMG as necessary and
appropriate. Referral for specialty care as appropriate.
Identification of appropriate limitations to activity at home and
work. Rendering an opinion regarding causality and work
relatedness. Communication with employers at the completion of the
first visit to review the treatment plan and work capacity of the
patient, and at times through the case as requested from the
employer or when deemed necessary by the treating provider.
Requirements : MD/DO Unrestricted Arizona Medical Licensure with no
active stipulations Active full DEA license. Current BLS
certification. FMCSA certified for DOT exams within 90 days of
hire. Board Certification in primary specialty preferred but not
required in: Occupational Med, Family Med, Internal Med, Emergency
Med, PMR, Orthopedics (preferred, others will be considered) MRO
certification preferred Solid, demonstrated knowledge of the
practice and application of occupational medicine. Working
knowledge of laws and regulations governing rehabilitation
services; of worker’s compensation and clinical
procedures/processes ; and of diagnoses and treatment of
occupational injury and disease. Working knowledge of medical
office administration and procedures. Sound administration and
management skills. Ability to instruct, teach, and correct.
Confident and professional demeanor with medical providers,
administrators, and clients Ability to perform treadmill stress
