Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in patient recovery, designing and implementing therapeutic strategies that cater to individual patient needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and optimal outcomes for all patients under your care. Evaluate patient conditions and develop appropriate therapeutic interventions. Implement patient-specific occupational therapy interventions based on a thorough evaluation and the interdisciplinary team’s input. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Educate patients and their families on interventions and wellness strategies. Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. Strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create and follow through with customized care plans. Proficient in the use of occupational therapy tools and technologies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid and active state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Preferably certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
