The Medical Director will partner with the CEO and medical staff to ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance, while fostering a dynamic and patient-centered healing environment.Position Highlights Independent Contractor position with flexible scheduling Leadership role as Medical Director of a 50-bed acute rehab hospital Collaborate with CEO and interdisciplinary clinical team Provide oversight and direction in accordance with CMS, Joint Commission, and facility standards Opportunity to maintain or build a clinical practice alongside leadership dutiesWhy Partner Here Independent contractor status for scheduling flexibility Access to advanced technology and a collaborative team environment Comprehensive compliance and administrative support Ongoing training and leadership developmentQualifications MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration experience Eligible through one of the following: Completion of a PM&R residency Fellowship in rehabilitation (minimum one year) One-year hospital internship plus two years’ experience managing inpatient rehabilitation patientsIdeal Candidate Strong leadership and communication skills Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care* Interest in building programs and supporting interdisciplinary teamwork
