Job Description:
As part of Epic Special Education Staffing, the School
Psychologist Hybrid ESY (Extended School Year) role focuses on
providing psychological services to students in a hybrid setting,
combining in-person assessments with virtual support. This unique
role demands a specialized skill set tailored to meet the diverse
needs of students with special educational requirements. The ideal
candidate will possess a deep understanding of psychological
theories and practices applicable to education, with specialized
training in handling various educational disabilities and
challenges. Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations in
both virtual and traditional settings. Develop and implement
intervention strategies and IEPs. Collaborate with teachers,
parents, and administrators to facilitate student success. Provide
crisis intervention as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary
teams to review and adjust educational plans. Strong grasp of
psychological testing and interpretation. Ability to engage
students through virtual platforms. Proficient in IEP development
and oversight. Crisis management skills. Excellent communication
and collaboration capabilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Certification as a School Psychologist.
Licensed or certifiable in the state of employment.
