Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,167 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Level 1 Trauma experience Description: MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE. 50-mile radius rule applies. Medical solutions pre-screens are required. Clinical recommendations send candidates for manager approval. No second interview necessary. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance. Candidates have 2 attempts to pass the exam. If failed, the candidate will be disqualified. Travelers must have their own vehicles. Natural hair color and no facial piercings are required. Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing. A pass/fail exam will be conducted on day 1. Details for passing the exam will follow. All RNs will be expected to complete a skills lab for specific procedures. Travelers going to specified campuses will be required to complete skills labs. Nurses must maintain a sterile field. Candidates lacking competency in key areas may not be a good fit. Additional training will cover lifts, restraints, and wound care on an educational basis. Unit specifics include 32 beds and a 1:4 patient ratio. Charge nurses will take a lighter patient assignment. Nurse aides will be available during shifts. Weekend requirements include 4 weekend shifts in 8 weeks. Holidays are worked into the rotation. Common diagnoses and patient types include trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, and brain tumors. The average length of stay is 4-5 days. The unit is fast-paced with a high turnover rate. Bedside reporting is standard practice. The hospital has a cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts to be canceled per assignment. The charting system used is Cerner.
