Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Required Skills/Experience: Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. RNs required to titrate drips: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone. Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips. Required Credentials: Required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Unit and facility details: Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital. May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment. Shift & Scheduling: 7a - 7p or 7p - 7a - Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time.4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule. Holiday Rotate in with the perm staff. Floating Requirements: First to float, could float to sister facility. Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed. Other Requirements: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
