Job Details — Interventional Radiologist | Sun City, AZ Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 - $7,280 Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) — image-guided procedures, vascular and non-vascular interventions Employment Type: Local, On-Site Physician Location: Sun City, AZ (85351) — Maricopa County / Phoenix metro area Start Date: September 1, 2026 End Date: September 2, 2026 Shifts per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12 hours Schedule: 7 days a week, 8am–5pm MST; includes call shifts and rotating holiday coverage with current IR practice Job Requirements — Interventional Radiology Physician Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) Completion of an Interventional Radiology Fellowship ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification Proficiency performing a broad range of IR procedures: biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions Experience with general fluoroscopy (fluoro) procedures is a plus Comfortable working in a hospital-based, fast-paced clinical environment and meeting productivity expectations Responsibilities — Interventional Radiologist / IR Physician Provide onsite Interventional Radiology services, including image-guided vascular and non-vascular procedures and general diagnostic reads Perform IR procedures such as biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter, fistulagram with declot, and biliary/venous interventions Cover general fluoroscopy procedures during day shifts and on-call Participate in call shifts and rotating holiday coverage with the IR practice Meet productivity expectations (minimum 61 RVUs per shift) Use Powerscribe 1 dictation for reporting and documentation Why join us: Work in a collaborative hospital-based Interventional Radiology team in Sun City, AZ, with competitive compensation and opportunities to practice a wide range of image-guided procedures.
