Family Liaison Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. Job Summary The Family Liaison is an individual who has the personal lived experience of being a family member of a person who is receiving, or has received, mental health and or substance abuse services in crisis and traditional treatment settings and has experienced their own personal recovery as a supportive family member. The Family Liaison uses their own personal experience and the resources provided by CBI to personalize care and assist clients and their families in understanding of services, utilizing referrals and applying recommendations from other professionals, and navigating current systems of care available in their community. Skills/Requirements: Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate Degree or higher preferred. Personal experience of being a family member of a person who is receiving mental health/substance abuse services and having worked on own family’s recovery required. Experience working with children and families in a community-based program preferred. Health Care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations preferred but not required Or equivalent combination of education and experience CBI Offers an excellent benefits package!
