Opportunities are everywhere at Andersen and we are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Gilbert, AZ. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative duties Provide receptionist coverage for the Plant or department Run reports, update KPI files, and input data Order and maintain needed inventory of supplies (office, first aid, etc.) Attend, participate, create, and administer meeting minutes Coordinate annual employee training (CPR, AED, BBP, First Aid, RTK, etc.) Coordinate plant or department event HRIS/Record Retention Enter new employees into HRIS system. Runs queries as needed Maintain personnel files in compliance with records retention policy and applicable legal requirements. Act as site liaison in troubleshooting associate issues relating to payroll, timekeeping and benefits. Coordinate and monitor production associate merit increases and performance reviews Exempt and office non-exempt timekeeper for the plant and back-up for production timekeeper. Maintain calendar of office associate schedules. Provide training and direction for other system users Recruiting Processes Assist with recruiting efforts Assist with screening, interviewing and selecting candidates Coordinate necessary pre-employment testing Act as liaison between Company and staffing service partners Participate in and coordinate the new hire orientation process and ensures all required paperwork and benefit forms are filled out correctly and processed through the ESC Coordinate voluntary/involuntary layoff and return processes Employee Relations Facilitation Direct associates seeking policy clarification and HR-related inquiries to management and/or an HR Generalist. Coordinate various associate meetings, including scheduling, invitations, room arrangements, lunches, maintaining attendance records. Maintain facility bulletin boards. Participate in community partnership events and activities. Compile information and create stand-up meeting notes for supervisors. Health Services/Safety Assist associates with medical leave related questions and paperwork, coordinating with Corporate Health Services. Assist associates and supervisors in the return-to-work process. Coordinate the scheduling of shoe mobile, Flu shots, Red Cross, etc. Track associates on long-term disability process. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required Minimum 3-5 years' experience in progressive HR support roles Experience with the recruiting process (screening, interviewing, etc.) Highly motivated; capable of independently managing multiple tasks/projects in a professional, efficient manner Excellent customer service & follow-through skills Outstanding desktop computer skills (MS Office applications) Experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle and Kronos applications Strong at sorting and organizing information Highly motivated; capable of independently managing multiple tasks/projects in a professional, efficient manner Excellent customer service & follow-through skills Outstanding desktop computer skills (MS Office applications) Experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle and Kronos applications Andersen Corporation - Today report job - original job
