Description Description Job summaryThe Selling on Amazon Registration and Verification team's mission is to: (a) make it simple and fast for Sellers to register globally, (b) verify the identity of every person and business selling on Amazon, and (c) continuously improve operations to achieve accuracy, speed, and scale. When we are successful, we enable Marketplace growth and build trust with our Customers.As part of seller registration risk, we measure the risk-level of all sellers that go through our registration and verification processes. When we identify a potential seller exhibiting risky behavior, we perform additional verifications and checks. As Sr. Product Manager - Technical, you will lead the seller registration risk team across product and program management functions. You and your team will lead efforts to: (1) build and enhance machine learning (ML) risk models in partnership with our data science team, (2) develop and drive requirements to launch new features in the registration and verification process, and (3) own the enforcement and appeal process.You will work hand in hand with product, software engineering, machine learning, and operations teams to deliver great products and services. We continually innovate, and set a high bar for building highly secure, highly available, and highly scalable systems. We are passionate about our customers and work on their behalf to deliver the right solutions that meet their unique and diverse needs.Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product--- Bachelor s degree--- 7+ years of product management or consulting experience in technology focused business--- Experience managing a team of product managers and/or program managers--- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders--- Analytical and quantitative skills; Experience using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.Preferred Qualifications --- MBA or Advanced degree in relevant field--- Prior experience managing technical products or online services--- History of developing product strategy in conjunction with senior leadership--- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units.
