Job DescriptionOur exclusive client, a large, national mortgage loan sales and services company with offices in the Chandler/Gilbert area is seeking an Enterprise Sr SQL DBA to join their team on a permanent, direct-hire basis. The Sr SQL DBA will work with both technical IT engineering, architectural and data analysis staff, as well as business data analysis personnel. The company has seen tremendous growth through acquisition and sales in the last two years, and it starting to bring most services in house. This Sr SQL DBA role will be key in that roadmap. This is a unique opportunity to truly be part of a large-company atmosphere and enterprise architecture, but still feel like a smaller company with an approachable and very competent management team. Plus, it is located right in the heart of the Southeast Valley.Excellent leadership team, great environment, great benefits (see below), upward movement, enterprise data, company acquired last year by private equity and taking them to next level.Essential Duties:Partners with Database Engineers, Data Analysts, ETL Developers, Data Architects, and Data Modelers to obtain the needed specifications to build data structures needed to maintain data throughout its life-cycle. This will be for both new efforts as well as maintenance.Performs environment tuning and maintenance; documents and performs data changes, corrections, and one-time script execution; provides properly documented access to authorized data users; and providing general support to data tool users.Provides the necessary documentation associated with the developed and maintained data structures to satisfy all company, IT and Data Governance policies, procedures, standards, practices, and guidelines.Ensures that the data processing environment and the supporting data structures are designed and maintained to ensure optimum system performance and the ability to meet business processing requirements.Assists in the collaboration between analysts, developers, system owners, quality assurance, business process owners, and data governance in the testing of new and changed data structures.Assists Project Management staff in defining data project milestones and resource needs.Keeps current with the technologies that have potential impact on company information processes, identifies opportunities and make recommendations for changes and/or additions to the data administrator's toolbox, including changes in best practice and methodologies.Install, test, upgrade and maintain hardware, operating systems, database, and application software on enterprise level operating systems and applications.Resolve enterprise system, application or database problems, and individual problems for student, faculty, and staff users.Analyze and resolve problems with databases, applications or operating system hardware.Qualifications:7+ years' experience SQL database administration / maintenance.Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform in an environment that can be ambiguous and time-sensitive.Ability to write, edit, and correct ad-hoc SQL Updates using T-SQL.Nice to Have (Not Required):Any prior industry experience with loan origination and or servicing companiesFull-Time Benefits:15+ days PTO first year (management doesn't manage PTO days off, they manage results, so PTO could really be 15-20+ days/yr - 3-4 weeks - really it's unlimited)Health, Vision and Dental9 days paid sick time7 paid holidaysLife InsuranceAflac Insurance401kFlexible Spending Account (up to $2,500/yr)Company DescriptionA premier technical staffing firm, our mission is to empower our clients with the most qualified, available local talent to build their teams.
