Job Description Job Description Massive Hiring for Material Handlers in Casa Grande! Seize this rare opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge equipment at the forefront of electric automobile powertrain innovation! NO MATERIAL HANDLER EXPERIENCE NEEDED but must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-12 hour shift APPLY IN PERSON: Pay and Shifts: $20 | 6am-4:30pm $21 | 6pm-4:30am Must be able to work overtime as needed Position Overview: The main function of a Material Handler is to receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items from stockroom, warehouse or storage yard Receive and count stock items Record data manually or using computer Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers Ability to schedule and prioritize multiple projects Effective verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced setting Work as an integral part of the production team to ensure smooth operations and efficient output Ability to handle physical workload High attention to detail and follow up on defective product Requirements: A physical copy of a high school diploma, GED, or transcript 10-panel oral drug test Experience operating a stand up forklift is a plus Able to perform manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced work setting Previous experiment working in a high production environment is preferred Must have command of the English language both written & verbal All potential employees will be required to pass a comprehensive background check Ability to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday ~Balance Staffing is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
