Role The Production Scheduler is responsible for the order
fulfillment process from order entry to the production of our
customer orders. Areas of Accountabilities Responsible for
processing all incoming orders accurately to meet customer delivery
schedules, and customer specifications. Check IML and brand plate
inventory prior to production start, and order these materials if
necessary. Communicate with Sales and Operations to clearly show
how we will meet our customers’ needs. Utilize Rehrig Management
System to establish expected work standards and identify when
deviations occur. Implement A3 problem solving to resolve gaps in
work standards. Ensure floor stock requirements are met for key
customers. Manage floor stock inventory levels according to
seasonality demands and minimize any possible overstock. Plan for
production that balances customer needs, plant capacity, and
overhead costs. Communicate with Freight Coordinator on order
completion dates to account for transit times. Address gaps in core
processes related to Scheduling. Use root cause analysis and
resources to systematically eliminate gaps and build consistent and
robust processes. Assist with case management for customer service
failures to determine root cause and gaps in current process.
Implement corrective actions. Work closely with cross functional
groups to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Customer Service,
Production, Shipping, and Freight Services. Knowledge, Skills, and
Experience Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Planning or
other relevant experience 2 years preferred Minimum – Microsoft
Office, Outlook, intermediate level with Excel. Preferred-
Intermediate level with JDE. Capable of working in a very
fast-paced, 24/7 work environment. Strong organizational and
problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, and
communication (verbal and written) skills. Rehrig Pacific Company
