Control Inspector positions in Gilbert, AZ supporting aerospace

The Quality Control Inspector I is a full time, nonexempt hourly
position and reports to the Quality Manager at our Gilbert, AZ
facility. In general, the Quality Inspector is responsible for
performing quality control inspections and checks during the
manufacturing process of aerospace products. This is an entry to
+ Perform in-process and final inspections.
+ Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) per
AS9102 and Customer requirements.
+ Review assembly procedures and associated in-process
inspection documents for required specifications.
+ Interface with customer source inspectors.
+ Assist with identification and segregation of rejected
products or materials.
+ Maintain high level of integrity in dealing with all
departments within the organization
+ Perform receiving inspection.
+ Perform and documents first article inspection to AS9102 and
+ Identify process improvements.
+ Identify and correct any potential FOD related items.
+ Perform preventative maintenance duties as required.
+ Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Skilled using measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers,
micrometers, hand tools.
+ Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management
and follow-up skills.
+ Ability to work from engineering drawings/specs, engineering
change notices or established operating procedures.
+ Minimum of 1 year in Aerospace Manufacturing environment
+ Experience with PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
+ Vision Requirement: Vision testing in accordance with NASA-STD
8739.6 (may be met with corrected vision using eyeglasses or
+ AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management System
+ AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI)
+ J-STD-001 Solder Workmanship
+ IPC-A-610 Solder Workmanship
+ IPC-A-620 Wire Harness Workmanship
