Registration Representative, we are often the first point of
contact for our patients and their families. As such we value

quality of care they need. We are diligent in obtaining complete
and accurate insurance and demographic information in a timely
manner, this enable us to provide high quality, compassionate
health care service to all who need them, regardless of their
ability to pay. Positions may be available in the following areas:
- Emergency Room, Operating Room, Outpatient, Infusion, Maternal
Child, and Transplant Services.Shifts will be based on the specific
department. Typical shifts are 8 - 10 and start anywhere between
5:00am and 9:00pm, any day of the week. This could vary depending
on business needs and additional information will be provided
during the interview process. We offer 3 weeks of paid training.
This position will be located at either of the following:Mercy
Gilbert Medical Center (MGMC), located at 3555 S Val Vista Dr,
Gilbert, AZ 85297Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC) located at
1955 Frye Road, Chandler, AZ 85224.Both locations offer shift
differentials for afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends as
well as on call pay. We have an onsite cafeteria and gift shop with
employee discounts as well as an onsite Starbucks and free parking.
Performance based bonuses are also available.Primary
Responsibilities:
- Communicates directly with patients and / or families either in
person or on the phone to complete the registration process by
collecting patient demographics, health information, and verifying
insurance eligibility / benefits
- Responds to patient and caregivers' inquiries related to
routine and sensitive topics always in a compassionate and
respectful manner
- Organizes and schedules patient services and appointments for
referrals or follow - ups ensuring proper information is forwarded
to practitioners
- Utilizes computer systems to enter, access or verify patient
data in real - time ensuring accuracy and completeness of
information
- Generates, reviews and analyzes patient data reports and
follows up on issues and inconsistencies as necessaryYou'll be

you may be interested in. -Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a
healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge of ICD - 9 (10) and CPT terminology
- Experience in requesting and processing financial payments and
the ability to perform basic calculations for payment
- Understanding of insurance policies and procedures as well as
charity care programs payment assistance programs
- Ability to work any 8 - 10-hour. Start anywhere between 5:00am
and 9:00pm, any day of the week shifts including nights, weekends,
overnights, and holidays
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this

compliance.Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree (or higher)
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- 4+ years of experience working in a hospital Patient
Registration Department, physician office setting, healthcare
insurance company, revenue cycle vendor, and / or other revenue
