Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.The Principal Integration and Test will maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers and various customer organizations. Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions. Design and developing tooling to aid in the integration and test process.Support integration of fragile space flight hardware onto space vehicles and additionally have the ability to proactively identify issues and escalate to appropriate channels. The desired candidate should have leadership skills, organizational skills, personal skills, and a strong follow-through "can do" attitude. The selected candidate will be required to support spacecraft and spacecraft subsystem assembly and test. The selected candidate must be flexible with work schedules, willing and able to work off shifts, weekends, overtime, and travel for launch campaigns. Occasional short term projects with travel may be required. Basic Qualifications: - The candidate must be a U.S Citizen and shall possess a BS + 5 years of exp: MS +3 years of exp; PhD + 0 years of exp, 4 additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of the degree. - An active DoD Top Secret security clearance which was active in the last 24 months - Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power point are required. - Understanding of Clean Room requirements, Hazardous Material Handling, Hazardous Operations protocols, and related operational protocols - The ability to support and maintain work areas up to company ESD, FOD and 5S standards. - Hands-on knowledge and experience with the use of a variety of hand tools and mechanical equipment with the ability to read, interpret, and execute work to mechanical assembly drawings, wire lists and BOM's. - The ability to demonstrate technical knowledge in manufacturing operations and procedures. - Ability to perform epoxy bonding and polymeric application as it pertains to space flight hardware. --- Daily Team Leadership on the floor directing and observing I&T Mechanical Operations. --- Leads and direct the morning team SQDEC. --- Function as the Mechanical Liaison for Electrical Pre-Ops Huddles. --- Direct MES operations and verification that operations are completed in proper sequence, per process, and properly signed off. --- Understand work requirements and provide forward personnel support requirements to the ITME (OT, Weekends, number of support personnel, planning, stock room). --- Work with the Mechanical Technician Staff regarding pre-task preparedness and 2 week look ahead preparations including WI reviews, Parts assessments, personnel requirements, tools, and materials. --- Provide a consistent daily pass down to ITME on accomplishments, barriers, escalations, and goals. --- Supports ITME with NCR actions on dispositions. --- Support engineers i.e. Thermal, Propulsion, Structures etc. in the execution of their tasks --- Lead and direct vehicle lifts and moves --- Support MGSE Proof testing --- Evaluate and suggest process improvements --- Performs Proof Loads --- Verify MGSE certifications ( e.g. Proof Loads), re-certify as needed - prior to need Preferred Qualifications: Solumina MES, TipQA, Windchill, CREOView, and Spacecraft processing knowledge preferred. Experience with critical/hazardous operations a plus. Salary Range: $80,000 USD - $100,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
