Job DescriptionPosition Title: Associate Campus Pastor – Groups
& Made for More Campus: Gilbert Reports to: Campus Pastor Status:
Full-Time Position Summary: The focus for this position will be
developing a thriving Groups Community and coordinating campus Make
a Difference events. Additionally, this role will support the
Campus Pastor's work with overall campus community life,
Benevolence, First Impressions, and Care Ministry, as needed. The
ACP will actively recruit and lead volunteers to be the point
people for key ministry areas on his/her campus. This position is
connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward
the vision of Central Christian Church. Responsibilities: Whenever
possible we should be identifying, developing, and leading
volunteers who execute on the responsibilities below. Groups
Ministry
o Oversee recruitment and execution of Groups and Rooted at the
campus levelo Maintain Groups vision alignment on his/her Campus. o
Innovate and bring creativity for group growth, leader development
and connecting people to groups.o Develop personal goals and
strategize campus growth of leaders and groups. o Visit
neighborhood groups frequently for pastoral care and connectivity
to staff team.o Perform all administrative duties needed for
position. Made for More Events
o Lead the development and execution of four community events for
their campus.o Two of the four events are planned for their campus
by (title).o Two of the four events are planned by the Associate
Director of Community Engagement – Local and are done
church-wide.
Central Impressionso Support the Campus team as needed with
execution of First Impression areaso Provide support, as needed,
with operations of Café & Food and overall care of the Campus.
Volunteer Championo Build volunteer teams and specifically, focus
on developing high-capacity volunteers for Groups and Made for More
Events.o Champion the volunteer opportunity emphasis at Christmas
and Easter.o Recruit volunteer leaders to champion, coach and to
assist in the leadership of the Groups Ministry for his/her
campus.o Benevolence Ministry – As needed support the Campus Pastor
in meeting the benevolence needs of the campus. o Campus Life –
Support the Campus Pastor in his/her efforts to build a strong
campus community and to reach the community that surrounds the
campus.o Understand and achieve KPI goals that are set every year.o
Act as one of the primary backups for Campus Pastor in his or her
absence. Competencies: Action Oriented – Takes on new opportunities

positive manner; stresses major points. Keeps the main thing in
front of others and uses an appealing style, candidness and humor.

does not become demonstrative or rigid. Works to build bridges that
best solve shared problems and generates opportunities. Is able to
develop emotional and intellectual awareness while having
leadership confidence. Administration – Capable of handling and
communicating details, allowing other leaders to know and fulfill
their roles. Decision Making – Able to make appropriate decisions
in a reasonable time frame; determining whether action is needed.
Identifies problems and makes the most appropriate decision.
Personal Growth – Accepts responsibility to grow spiritually,
emotionally and intellectually; sets personal goals to continue
learning in order to know scripture, cultural awareness and
confidence in leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:· Bachelor's degree or equivalent
in applied area.· Prefer 3 years of related ministry experience.·
Recent leadership experience of leading leaders.· Hard worker who
is flexible and adaptable.· Excellent written and verbal
communication skills with the ability to personally administrate.·
Must be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, and proficient
in the application of Rock.
Role model in personal life:· Must align with the vision, and
values of Central Christian Church and be committed to doing
Central no harm.· Financially support the vision of Central
Christian Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross
income.· Growing in your personal relationship with Christ, while
developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the
Church.

the qualities and characteristics required of Central Christian

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is occasionally required to stand, walk sit; use hands to
finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands
and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl;
talk or hear;. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to
twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
