.ResponsibilitiesJOIN US NOW as we are seeking a PATIENT CARE
TECHNICIAN to be part of our dynamic patient care team. The Patient
Care Technician performs patient related care tasks. Assists
patients with activities of daily living and provides direct
patient care under supervision of Nurse. Obtains and records
patient vital signs. Monitors and records daily intake and output.
Obtains specimens, including non-invasive body fluids and blood
specimens. Performs EKGs and blood glucose monitoring. Monitors and
performs actions to decrease patient length of stay including but
not limited to: performing timely designated discharge duties, and
communicating discharge information to appropriate staff. Assists
Physician/Nurse with diagnostic tests, clinical procedures, and
other tasks as requested. Communicates patient needs and
observed/reported changes in patient condition to supervising Nurse
or Physician. Documents all interactions in patient''s medical
record.QualificationsMinimum:Current CNA and/or EMT certification
in good standingCertified Nursing Assistant, or Emergency Medical
Technician - Basic, or previous military medic experience, or
seeking degree in nursing, or previous healthcare experienceHigh
School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and
experienceCurrent American Heart Association BLS cardKnowledgeable
in medical terminologyPreferred:Previous experience with a patient
