Operations Organization in SSSD has several openings for a
Principal Space Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified,
diverse individuals. This position will be located in Gilbert
Arizona.Multiple roles are available throughout the product
development life-cycle of our programs with emphasis in one of the
following disciplines:- Space System Physical and Functional
Architecture Development- Concept of Operations (CONOPS)- Thread
Engineering- Model Based System Engineering- Orbital
Analysis/Determination- System Integration- Test
Planning/Execution- Ground Systems Engineering- Tool Development-
Site Installation- Interface Validation- System Activation- System
Operation- System Maintenance and TurnoverAvailable positions
require that the candidate have a strong understanding of one or
more of the skills described. Project roles span all phases from
new business acquisition, and IRAD/ technology development to

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
and 5+ years of engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a STEM
(Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 3+
years of engineering experience OR PhD Degree in a STEM (Science,
Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) disciplineONE of the
following active U.S. Government security clearances: Dept of
Defense Secret level (or higher) with a background investigation
date within 10 years OR Dept of Energy L clearance with a
background investigation date within 10 yearsPreferred
Qualifications:Master's Degree in EngineeringExperience working on
aircraft or spacecraft systemsExperience in developing, managing,
and decomposing requirementsExperience in system architecture,
CONOPs, or model based system engineeringExperience in subsystem,
payload, or system integrationExperience using DOORS, CameoStrong
People and Technical Leadership SkillsExcellent communication
Skills (upward and downward)"Salary Range: $90,400 USD - $135,600
USDEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
