Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Tech 3 to join our Tactical Space Division's Global Supply Chain team. This position will take place in Gilbert, AZ. Performs warehouse shipping duties to include material preparation for shipment and the loading and securement of trucks prior to departure. Candidate loads, unloads, and coordinates the transportation of materials and equipment within offsite warehouse and between off site stockrooms and storage locations. Opens containers using hand tools; counts and verifies materials for accuracy and records information. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand. Conveys materials using push carts, propane and electric forklifts, reach lifts, or other devices. Processes material to stock in accordance with specifications and labeling requirements. Essential Functions:Proficient in all aspects of inventory parts control including physical counts, storage, ESD protection, preservation, inventory accuracy, and packaging and labelingPicking parts and assembling kits in support of manufacturing schedules and priority need datesUtilize Share Point to communicate the status of parts pick requests to internal and external customersResolve issues by coordinating with inter-departmental points of contactThe selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMininum of 4 years experience in warehousing, distribution or logisticsAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.Ability to bend, stoop, push and pullPreferred Qualifications:Costpoint knowledgeCognos/Sharepoint knowledgeForklift CertifiedMicrosoft Office product knowledgeNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
