Job Description:
Business Analysts provide support to the GPS Consulting Strategy
& Analytics Talent Team in the delivery of Talent Strategic
services to the Business. They will also support the Talent
organization during peak times to deliver key analysis and support
for talent lifecycle process.
Work you'll do
Business Analysts drive data collection efforts, provide in-depth
reporting and deliver statistical analysis to provide solutions
tailored to support the execution of strategic priorities for GPS
Consulting teams.
- Supports the TBA Team with deep dive data to inform and drive
business decision through analysis of HR metrics
- Proactively delivers value added metrics using appropriate
tools that can be translated into insights for TBAs and business
(Via PPT & Excel)
- Manages the analysis and evaluation of data related to Talent
programs and processes as directed by TBAs
- Proactively synthesizes data in a meaningful way; creates
reports (Excel) and develops Executive Summaries (PowerPoints) to
present clear and concise data insights to business leaders
- Collaborates with COEs & CTS to ensure effective service
delivery across the Talent channels (e.g. Deployment, Performance,
Acquisition, Development, Core Talent Services, etc.)
- Closely analyzes and monitors Talent data related to
compensation, attrition trends, headcount, performance management,
etc., to aid in greater forecasting and prioritization of short-
and long-term Talent trends/objectives
- Analyzes historical Talent data to build action plans and
support Talent strategy development
- Oversees and leads efforts on key reporting and ensures
consistent delivery of recommendations to TBAs
- Proactively updates, validates and evaluates data to ensure
accurate reporting while identifying ways to improve efficiencies
related to data collection and reporting
- Partners with National Inclusion team on DEI data requests to
ensure reports are delivered to clients in compliance with firm
guidelines
- Manages requests such as transfers, regular data audits, and
reporting (both standard and ad hoc)
- Partners with USI counterparts to provide support to clients
and key stakeholders
- Collaborates with Business Analyst counterparts to maximize
efficiencies and achieve set goals
The team
The Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team"
through collaboration with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and
Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver integrated Talent services to
support Business strategies and priorities.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum of 5 years of business or Human Resources related
experience
- Strong analytical capabilities: candidates who are energized by
quantitative tasks and responsibilities will thrive in this
position
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capabilities
- Excel - effectively run reports, write and validate formulas
and calculations, create tables and graphs, link information,
create pivot tables, manage multiple sources of data, and ensure
data accuracy
- PowerPoint - effectively "tell the story" with supporting data,
create/import tables, graphs, and create decks/executive summaries
for leadership review
- Creative thinker with strong teaming and collaboration skills
- Undergraduate degree required (4 year); degree in finance,
computer science, business or related field a plus
- Flexible, team player who will flourish in a fast-paced
environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High levels of discretion in handling confidential
information
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte
is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the
compensation range for this role. This compensation range is
specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide
range of factors that are considered in making compensation
decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and
training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We
would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would
land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will
be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the range is $71425 to $131545.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual
incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program,
whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including,
without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
