Since 1987, the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) has set
the standard in certification, continuing education, solutions and
tools for health and fitness, sports performance and sports
medicine professionals. NASM has pioneered evidence-based health
and fitness solutions that optimize physical performance and allow
individuals to achieve a variety of fitness activity goals.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for
driving qualified leads and revenue generation for NASM and AFAA.
This will be accomplished through utilizing our social media and
email platforms to provide sales opportunities our sales team
utilizing different types of communication channels. The SDR will
be responsible for the development of new, existing, and
disqualified leads. The SDR will also be responsible for
communication targeted at existing NASM and AFAA customers to
encourage repeat business. The OSDR will work with sales,
marketing, operations, and other key personnel throughout the
organization to identify opportunities and develop better marketing
communication to our existing customer base and will assist with
adjusting messaging in our marketing efforts.
--- Manage sales opportunities from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
and Email channels.
--- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate
social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting
on the information.
--- Manage priorities and efforts of Social Media and Email
Marketing campaigns to quickly distribute sales opportunities to
the sales team.
--- Provide detailed and accurate reporting on Email Marketing
efforts to improve messaging to customer base.
--- Distribution of qualified sales opportunities to the sales
--- BA/BS is required
--- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience with a proven record of
--- Superior written and grammar skills.
--- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly
build rapport with both customers.
--- Resourceful problem-solver who can think laterally and
critically to leverage opportunities within a variety of sales
--- Team player who can effectively collaborate and build working
relationships with internal and external stakeholders and
constituents to deliver desired outcomes
