Sales Support / Showroom Supervisor

Summary: The Sales Support / Showroom Supervisor is responsible for
the overall supervision and development of the Sales Support
Coordinators, and Showroom Specialists. The Supervisor will be
coaching, training, and coordinating daily tasks of team members to
ensure effectiveness, efficiency and quality of work performed and
to meet established goals and company standards. The position
requires the Supervisor to be motivated, flexible, and customer
service-minded while leading a group of 10-15 team members. Must be
able to partner with other leaders in the team and
organization.
The Supervisor will also be the main point of contact for all
showroom events and activities planned throughout the year. He/She
will be responsible for creating a calendar of events and budget
for each location. This person will be tasked with leveraging the
investments made in the showrooms in each market we serve to
increase Pella brand awareness, provide relevant
education/training, develop critical relationships and to host
industry meetings for targeted audiences throughout the year.

Education and/or Experience
BS/BA degree, or equivalent, plus two (2) years related business
experience, or general business experience, required. Must be
familiar with practices of employee supervision, process and policy
development and implementation, etc. Must have the ability to
manage multiple tasks in an environment of constant interruptions
and be able prioritize responsibilities. Prior knowledge of general
construction applications and terminology and/or window and doors
applications or components is preferred. Ability to read and
interpret blueprints.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and
general building regulations. Ability to write typical business
correspondence and interpret and prepare procedure basic manuals or
procedural documents. Ability to effectively present information
and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the
public.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
software applications. Will be expected to develop proficiency
Pella Proprietary software.

Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and
promote self-growth. Must be pro-active, have a good attitude, be
self-disciplined, and self-motivated. Must be a "take-charge"
person with a demonstrated ability to follow projects through to
completion. Attention to administrative detail is required. Must be
articulate, able to give clear instructions, demonstrate
organizational skills, and meet deadlines. Must be able to maintain
strict confidence with regards to sensitive and protected
personnel/confidential information. Must be able to develop trust,
respect, and confidence of employees and managers. Must be able to
hold firm when necessary, provide constructive feedback, and
compromise when called for. Must present in a clean and neat
physical appearance and strictly abide by company dress code
serving as a role model for other employees, customer, and
visitors.
Mathematical and Reasoning Skills:
Must have ability to understand and communicate basic math
associated with this role. Must have ability to solve practical
problems without close supervision. Must be able to determine
appropriate resolution in dealing with employee concerns and
questions and set appropriate boundaries. Must possess good thought
processes, problem-solving skills, and investigative theory. Must
be able to use sound judgment and make objective decisions in the
company's best interest at all times.
