Job Description:
Suburban Propane, a leader in the delivery of propane and
refined fuels, as well as comprehensive energy services, is seeking
a motivated and customer-focused Regional Sales Representative to
join our dynamic sales team. This role is crucial for expanding our
market presence and driving sales initiatives across regional
territories, particularly focusing on residential, commercial,
industrial, and agricultural sectors. The ideal candidate will be
adept at creating strategic sales plans, building relationships,
and effectively managing customer needs to boost revenue and
customer satisfaction. Develop and execute strategic regional sales
plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Build
and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by
partnering with them and understanding their needs. Present sales,
revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the
management team. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while
being fully aware of new products and competition status. Negotiate
contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring
clients’ satisfaction. Collaborate with the customer service team
to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales
service. Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g. trade
shows) to cultivate customer relationships. Educate customers on
how our products can benefit them financially and environmentally.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong business sense and industry expertise. Excellent mentoring,
coaching, and people management skills. Strong listening,
negotiation, and presentation abilities. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Sales Professional
Certification is beneficial but not required. Knowledge of CRM
software and Microsoft Office Suite.
