Job Description Job Description General: Support customer flight operations by performing duties as a Crew Chief. Mission location will be disclosed at time of interview/hire. Responsibilities: • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable standards and technical data including but not limited to service bulletins, service instructions, engineering changes, and FAA airworthiness directives. • Disassembles systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. • Performs routine troubleshooting of engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Inspects component before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability of components. • Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. • Performs tasks associated with the safe handling of aerospace vehicles (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). • Works under general supervision. • Performs launch and recovery of unmanned aircraft • Works closely with the flight crew to prepare the aircraft for mission, training, and test flights Minimum Requirements: 1-4 yrs of experience in this field HS Diploma/Associate's 2 years of Group 4-5 UAS experience FAA Class III Medical Certificate Ability to work extended hours and shift work Preferred Experience: Experience w/ Rotax aircraft engines and/or Rotax training qualifications Competitive pay with full benefits package and paid time off
