Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The National Accounts Manager is responsible for driving new business growth nationwide by selling yard management and related logistics solutions, including local shuttle and regional dedicated operations to Fortune 500 and large enterprise customers. This role is a senior, hands-on sales leader who excels at cold calling, prospecting, and consultative selling. The position requires a strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, complex stakeholder environments, and transportation/logistics operations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: New Business Development Identify, prospect, and secure new yard management and logistics accounts with Fortune 500 and large enterprise customers. Execute a high-volume outbound prospecting strategy, including cold calling, email outreach, and in-person meetings. Develop and maintain a robust national sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Lead end-to-end sales efforts from initial contact through contract negotiation and close. Client Engagement & Solutions Selling Conduct needs assessments to understand customer yard operations, labor models, compliance requirements, and pain points. Present tailored yard management and logistics solutions that deliver operational efficiency, cost savings, safety, and service reliability. Build long-term relationships with C-suite, VP, and Director-level decision-makers. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, Pricing, Legal, HR, and Implementation teams to ensure accurate proposals and successful client onboarding. Provide market feedback to leadership regarding competitive trends, customer needs, and service opportunities. Reporting & Forecasting Maintain accurate CRM records, including prospect activity, pipeline status, and forecasts. Prepare regular sales performance reports for executive leadership. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Strategic and consultative selling Relationship building and influence; able to work well with wide range of individuals; build and maintain strong working relationships with operations and other departments Executive-level communication – verbally and in writing - and influence at all levels Hunter mentality with strong cold-calling discipline Results-driven and highly accountable Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Strong organizational and time management skills Self-starter with detail-oriented work habits Able to maintain confidentiality Demonstrate dependability through good attendance, punctuality and adherence to timelines and schedules Ability to travel nationally as required EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5 years of B2B outside sales experience, with a strong emphasis on cold calling and enterprise prospecting. Proven success selling to Fortune 500 or large multi-site customers. Experience selling logistics, transportation, yard management, staffing, or operational services. Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-location, multi-year contracts. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Preferred Prior experience selling yard management, yard jockey services, or supply chain solutions. Experience leading or scaling a national outside sales team. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and data-driven sales management. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Ability to travel by car or plane for long periods of time. The ability to use a computer, tablet or smart phone for extended periods of time. Basic use of office equipment such as copier and fax machines. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates 100% remotely. TRAVEL: There will be 40% travel for this position.
